Nearshore .NET development from Croatia: a senior engineer in your team, in your time zone

How a senior .NET and Blazor engineer from Croatia joins your existing team: same time zone, EU contracts and invoicing, and when it makes sense.

Nearshoring from Croatia means a senior .NET and Blazor engineer joins your existing team from Split, in the same time zone as Berlin, Vienna, Zurich and Amsterdam, under EU law and EU invoicing. No recruiting, no months of waiting, no agency layer in between: one experienced engineer who works in your repository, your stand-ups and your code review.

Two ways to work together

Extending your development team

You have a .NET team and more work than people. We join as a senior engineer:

  • in your repository, tickets and stand-ups, following your conventions
  • on the parts that need experience: architecture, migrations, performance and security
  • with code review and mentoring for the rest of the team, so the knowledge stays with you when we leave

Backing up your agency

You are an agency and a client needs .NET or Blazor work you don’t have the capacity or the expertise for. We work behind you, in your process and under your name if you prefer, and you stay the client’s contact.

Why Croatia

  • Same time zone. Croatia is on Central European Time, so the whole working day overlaps with Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium.
  • EU member since 2013, euro since 2023, Schengen since 2023. Contracts, GDPR and payments work the way they do with a company next door.
  • No VAT on the invoice. For business clients in other EU countries, invoices are issued under the reverse-charge rule, and VAT is accounted for on your side.
  • Lower rates than local senior contractors, without the time-zone and communication cost of offshoring.

How it works in practice

  1. A 30-minute call. What you are building, where the team needs help and what “done” looks like.
  2. Access and a first task. Repository, ticketing and environments. The goal is a first merged pull request in the first week.
  3. A monthly block of hours, used for whatever matters most that month. Cancel at any time.

We work in English and in your tools: Teams or Slack, Jira or Azure DevOps, GitHub or GitLab. NDA on request, and a data processing agreement where personal data is involved.

When it makes sense

  • You need senior .NET or Blazor experience now, not in six months.
  • A migration or an upgrade has a deadline, like .NET 8 and .NET 9 reaching end of support on 10 November 2026.
  • Your team is new to Blazor and needs someone who has taken it to production.
  • You need code review and architecture decisions more than extra hands.

When it doesn’t

  • You need a team of ten by next month.
  • The work has to be done on site every day.
  • The lowest hourly rate is the only criterion.

Who you get

Vlado Pandžić, founder of ProCoding: 14 years in .NET, Blazor in production since 2020, lead backend engineer at Bugatti Rimac from 2020 to 2024, and long-running work inside client teams such as Adriagate (since 2013) and Ionian Energy Systems (since its founding). You always know who works on your code, because it is the person you spoke to on the first call.
